I started skinny, humbled, and completely clueless. No coach. No direction. Just the will — and the helplessness of not knowing what to do with it.
Then the Navy happened. Within a month, I broke my right tibia running. Flat on my back, watching 12th pass cadets walk around with abs I couldn't explain. These kids were eating like animals in the naval mess — eggs, chicken, milk — training in the academy, then parade, then swim, then weights. Built like they were carved.
That image never left me.
Fourteen years later — handstands, front levers, back levers, backflips. Not because I am gifted. Because I never stopped showing up.
